Quick answers for teens and parents about Aimro Young, the bootcamp, and the webinar. Jump to a topic or scroll through.
Aimro Young is built for teens ages 13 to 17 who want to learn how to build apps and websites with AI. No prior coding experience needed. If you can copy and paste, you can build with us.
No. You do not need any coding experience. We teach vibe coding, which means you'll use AI tools, templates, prompts, and mentor guidance to build your app step by step.
All classes are taught in English.
The summer cohort starts June 29, 2026. The after-school cohort starts September 8, 2026.
By the end of the bootcamp, the goal is for you to have a working iPhone app that is ready to submit, or has been submitted, to the App Store, plus a live landing page.
It depends on the cohort. The summer cohort splits ages: Group A is 13-14, Group B is 15-17. The after-school cohort runs as a single class for ages 13-17, which is common for extracurricular programs. Our instructors pace to the middle and use breakouts when helpful.
No. The classes are designed to be self-paced with instructor support. You're welcome to sit in, but you do not need to.
Parents pay directly at checkout. Teens cannot pay themselves. We require parent or guardian consent for every signup.
Cameras are encouraged but not required. We respect your family's preference.
We offer a one-week refund policy. If your teen joins and you decide by the end of week one that the bootcamp is not the right fit, you can request a full refund. After week one, there are no refunds.
Yes. All instructors are vetted professionals with public LinkedIn profiles and industry experience. Sessions are recorded and group based. We never have 1:1 sessions without a recording.
Each live class is 1 hour. Summer cohort runs Monday to Thursday for 6 weeks. After-school cohort runs Monday to Friday for 6 weeks.
All live classes are recorded. You can watch the recording any time if you miss a session.
Lifetime access. You can rewatch any class forever.
Plan on another 3 to 5 hours per week building, testing, and trying things. The more you tinker, the more you'll ship.
Yes, but you should only need one. Summer is the focused track that ends before school. After-school is the slower-paced track during the school year.
Real apps. Last year, two teenagers built Cal AI to $30M in revenue. Our students aim for working iPhone apps in the App Store. You won't ship Instagram in 30 days, but you will ship something real that users can download.
No. App Store approval depends on the app idea, quality, Apple's guidelines, and the review process. We'll guide you through submission, but final approval is up to Apple.
Yes, if you want to publish to the App Store. The Apple Developer account ($99/year) is separate from the bootcamp price. It can be set up under a parent's account if you're under 18.
Yes. You'll learn how to vibe code a landing page for your app and publish it online.
No. We teach you how to pick your own idea, plan it, and build based on what you want to make. You'll also have working templates to speed things up.
You'll continue receiving launch support after the bootcamp. We support students for up to 30 days after the bootcamp ends so your app actually ships.
A Mac is highly recommended for the smoothest iOS building and publishing. Windows can work, but an iPhone is required for testing.
We recommend at least one paid AI tool subscription (ChatGPT Plus or a coding AI) for the best experience. Cursor and Antigravity have free tiers that work for learning. Most students spend ~$20/month on AI tools during the cohort.
No. The bootcamp price covers the course, templates, recordings, Discord, 1:1 clinics, prompt library, and launch guidance. Outside subscriptions are separate, roughly $130 total across the cohort.
Optional. If you want a custom landing page for your app, we'll show you how to buy and connect a domain (~$12/year).
The bootcamp includes:
Build clinics are 30-minute 1:1 sessions where you can get help with broken code, setup problems, app questions, debugging, publishing, or anything blocking your progress. All sessions are recorded.
We aim to respond within 24 hours.
TikTok and Instagram posting plans, account warming, AI content, organic content, and ads basics. We keep everything age-appropriate.
You'll learn how to create AI characters that can promote your app and help you create content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
Yes, if you choose to complete that part. Creating marketing content is optional but we'll teach you how.
Regular price is $599. Early Bird price is $499 for teens who join through the free webinar waitlist. Parent or guardian consent is required to enroll.
